I just needed some motivation!!


The last few weeks have been a little crappy for me lately. They have put me in a mood and I just want out, I have been depressed/sad, unmotivated, unhappy and generally feeling like poo… So, Monday I decided (because I still had one friend who wanted to go too) to go see Rachel Hollis’ ‘movie’, you know, that gal that wrote ‘Girl, wash your face’, it was following her and hearing her talk about why she does what she does and why we all need to do what makes us happy, and BOY AM I GLAD!!! I also am ordering the book and can’t wait to read it!

Here is a major takeaway I have – Be the you, your persistent you was in the past, that you that did something that pushed you to do something big/new/scary/amazing. A lot of you know that I do anything for others whenever I was asked, and I still do and wouldn’t want to change that at all, I love helping others and making them feel good and happy. BUT I don’t do it for myself, I am never good enough, I can never do what I want, I am always putting myself last. You know what that makes me? Absolutely CRAZY and to a degree a dumbass. I AM good enough, I CAN do what I want, and I WILL put myself first!! We all need to do that, if we aren’t happy, we attract unhappy people, and unhappy people can burst our happy bubble. It’s time to change that.

So then I have to ask myself, how? I mean what do I do? I am NOT used to putting me first, I always do what others want, I say yes to others who ask me to do things, and am notorious for over doing things and stressing out because of it…  SO here is what I am going to do, and really, they are things I already do!!! I want to be healthier and help others get healthier too, this means MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY!!

One way I do that is that I am a health coach with Optavia, if you want to lose some pounds, learn new eating habits, fuel your body for the activities YOU want to do, let me know!!! I have followed their plan and lost 40 pounds and kept them off, now I want to do more, lose more, help more people, BE HEALTHIER!!!

My other way is with Young Living Essential Oils, where the Optavia has helped me lose the pounds, YLEO has helped keep my brain calmer, my stress levels down, sleep like a baby, and they SMELL AMAZING!!! I am still learning about them and love what I have learned so far and want to share with anyone I can tell!! I mean an oil that can clean your house, keep you from getting sick, keep your stress levels manageable?!?! Yeah, I am so on that train and love the ride!!!

  1. Sara, I have always been motivated by your smile and enthusiasm and thought you were doing things for "you". Your disney marathons, just going to Disneyland. maybe you got away from that or maybe it was a front. you know what happens behind closed doors. I hope you do more for you. I try. it is a fine balance between being a mom, wife, daughter. I sacrfice my healthy in the name of doing for me. I look forward to sharing in your journey.
